Teleios: Post Canon Update: Day Two
When Henry awoke the next morning, he found the sun was in exactly the same position was as it had been the night before. Could they really call it morning and night when the sun didn't move? Just another question to add to the list he had about this place.
Getting up, he moved to the desk to sort out what sort of items the old Henry seemed to have collected. There were notebooks, comic books and even a camera with his name stitched in the strap. He flicked through a few of the comic books, recognising them from home, before taking a seat and looking through the drawers on the right. In the top one, he found an envelope. On the front it read: To Henry: If you can't remember, please read. It seemed as though he had been prepared for this eventuality.
Carefully opening the letter, he read and while there were plenty of answers, it held even more questions. Henry put the letter back down on the desk, sitting back on the chair and looking at the notebooks as well the larger book beneath he had just noticed entitled Once Upon a Time. It looked like he had a lot of reading ahead of him. At least he wasn't starting from scratch. And it also appeared as though Coulson's list was far inferior to his own notes.
Putting everything back where it came from, he headed down for breakfast. He was unusually quiet, still tracing those scars from last night, or whenever it had been, his mind racing with all the new information. He hated being in the dark but at least he knew where to go for some of it. He had also silently decided to read what had been written before asking his mother more questions. It seemed easier to find out from himself. Something was up with his mom and he didn't want to stress her out unnecessarily.
Later on, after his talk with Emma about the dragon and riding lessons, Henry could be found in his bedroom reading through first the note books but then also the Once Upon a Time book. There were still a lot of things he didn't understand since the larger book seemed to be made up of fairy tales. But this was important so he wasn't going to give up on the first hurdle.
But once he found the page containing his family tree, then he had to push the book aside and shake his head. All the names Emma had mentioned yesterday were on there. All related to him in some strange fashion. It even mentioned his dad. He really didn't know what to do with everything so he decided to leave it alone and take a walk. Maybe when he had cleared his head a bit, he could ask Emma about it all. His dad was a touchy subject but the notes had a slightly different take on the events and couldn't help but be curious about the discrepancy.
